Yasemin Denari

Yasemin is a Stanford GSB graduate with a professional career that has spanned multiple industries & countries- including work in venture capital, banking, politics, tech, filmmaking, writing, & artist management.

She most recently served as the Deputy Director of Digital for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Independent run for President of the United States. In this role she oversaw the Kennedy campaign’s prolific video production team (~1 billion video views) & social media across platforms. She also managed the relationships w/third party vendors, including the campaign’s digital advertising agency, & was responsible for the campaign’s weekly newsletter & virtual events. She EP’d the “We The People” radio show on K-ABC & co-produced the documentary 48 Hours Inside RFK Jr.'s Campaign. She also played an integral role in the establishment of the campaign’s policy team & priority issues, and managed & moderated a monthly Health Think Tank.

Over the last several years she has consulted for a variety of clients including tech startups, family offices, music artists, & authors in the areas of BD, strategy & brand consulting, market research, & has created fundraising decks that have resulted in nearly $600M in funding. From 2014-2016 Yasemin led the creation of Moon Shot, the 9-part Google Lunar XPRIZE documentary series directed by Oscar winner Orlando von Einsiedel & produced by J.J. Abrams, Bad Robot, & Epic Digital. She also produced the VICE doc Sounds of Solidarity: Haiti's DJ Movement & has consulted for VICE on HBO.

Before Google, she was the BD Lead at the computer vision video search engine startup Baarzo (ACQ:GOOG), & from 2012-2013 she was an Associate at Draper Associates.

At Stanford GSB, she was elected co-president of the Entrepreneur Club & interned at AOL Ventures, Kitchit, & Hip Digital Media. Prior to the GSB, she was a Senior Analyst at Draper Richards LP & co-authored the book The Startup Game: Inside the Partnership between Venture Capitalists and Entrepreneurs. Before this, she worked in international BD & marketing roles for Garanti Bank in Turkey & Romania, & also worked at NBC's Investigative Unit, EXTRA, & TMZ in LA.

She graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude from UCLA & has also attended Spain's University of Salamanca & Turkey's Bosphorus University. She speaks English, Italian, French, Spanish, & Turkish.
